What We Offer
Cricket Ground
The playing area is just over 3 acres, or 1.25 hectares, and surrounded completely by farmland. Rodge Brook runs to the east and has been in sight of all three home grounds. Cricketers for over 100 years have been looking for lost balls in that brook.
We only play on a grass wicket and have mobile covers trying to maximise the time spent playing cricket. We also have sightscreens.
Club House Bar
A stocked bar with a variety of alcoholic and soft drinks as well as a selection of snacks.
Community Hall
The community hall houses the changing facillities, kitchen and social area.
Our cricket teas are all made by our fantastic tea ladies and we are always being told that they are the best teas ever tasted.
For Hire
Cricket Ground
Cost for hiring the ground for a private cricket match is £5 per person with a minimum of £110. Teas can be provided at an additional cost of £4 per person
Club House Bar
To hire the bar for a private function is £50 per 1/2day.
Bar will be provided for a reduced charge of £20 if hiring the other facilities (ground or community hall) - this is on request and should be communicated at time of booking and enables the alcohol licence to be extended.
Community Hall
The community hall has been used for various functions such as music, fundraising events (quizzes etc.), pilates and the cost is £50 per 1/2 day
